Environmental Control Opportunities, LLC (ECO) can provide consulting, training and auditing
services for companies who are developing an
Environmental Management System (EMS) or who already
have an EMS in place.
ECO personnel have experience
providing
ISO 14001 registration auditing services with
five worldwide Registrars. Based on the experience
gained from working with a broad variety of systems and
industries, we have developed an
Environmental
Management Systems Manual, the
Core Procedures, and
basic
Forms which can provide a starting point for
developing an EMS in nearly any organization.
Why spend all of your development dollars on
consultants?
Based on our experience, the companies with the most
successful EMS's are often those who can target their
outside assistance to what is really necessary while
maximizing their in-house participation.
We want to work with you to build the best system that fits
your organization. If you want us to provide full development and
implementation of your system, we can do that. However, if you have able
personnel and portions of an environmental system already in place, we can build
on what you have and integrate systems where it leads to further efficiencies.
If you would like to do most of the implementation yourself, we can provide
review and oversight services as needed.
We can also provide you with a Core
EMS Documentation Template for use in starting your system. In some cases, we
have primarily provided assistance with the Environmental Aspects Review and
development of the Core Documentation. We have helped train internal auditors
and provide the first or on-going internal audits for systems.
At this time,
ECO personnel continue to work with UL DQS (formerly Underwriters Laboratories)
to provide registration assessments within facilities throughout North America.
